High School Musical Reality Series
Variety reports that ABC is developing a reality series based off of the highly popular "High School Musical" franchise. Looking for a summer debut, there will be a nationwide talent hunt for those Troy and Gabriella wannabes. Those chosen few will improve their skills at a music conservatory with eliminations each week. The winning prize has yet to be announced, but their will be guest appearances by "High School Musical" stars throughout the competition.
As expected Disney is milking every penny out of the High School Musical franchise while it's still popular. I'm sure they'll have a big hit on their hand, especially if they get the stars from the movies to appear on the show.
